So sorry to hear about your Copper. I know how hard it is and how much it hurts. At least we have Mad and Copper in heaven playing through the vast fields running together. I can just seem them together happy and not sick. I do believe they brought us together as friends. Both NYC pets, and owners from the Big Apple, how could we not think this? :) My Madison always was named after my love for our fabulous city, and wonderful Madison Ave, she was such a snob walking on her Coach leash down Madison or 5th ave. :) Madison was actually a huge part in remembering my Dad and named after him. He worked on Madison Ave. Madison was the first gift to me after my dad's death in 2004 in Florida. I returned to the Big Apple in 2005 and my precious Madison blonde cocker spaniel taught me to be a New Yorker again. I never experienced such sadness, such loss and missing somebody along side of my parents as Madison since the end of June. It still hurts about her. Not even ten when she died after diabetes/ and mammary cancer. Every time I hear a bark I still look up and think it is her. Sending my thoughts and friendship to you and Copper. You cheered me up after a very long summer's day on Friday. Hope you have a great weekend. :)
