Dear Victor,
The reason for our writing to you is; we are 86 & 82 years and not able to get out as much as we would like, and, we like to share with as many as we can the good-news the Bible teaches that most people do not appear to have knowledge of:
Our names are Milton & Marlene Koster. We live in upstate New York
The approach we would like to take at this time is about counterfeiting:
Likely what you think of first is counterfeit money. It’s true: counterfeit currency is a problem in most all countries. But then there are many other forms of counterfeiting too. Such as wearing apparel, (especially fashion name items), Watches, sporting equipment, auto parts, medical products, even food products. It seems there is no limit to the effort of counterfeiters to pass off something inferior as genuine for the purpose of making a profit.
Back to the counterfeit money: A cashier handling lots of money needs to be on the lookout for counterfeits. But rather than studying all types of counterfeits, it is found best to be very familiar with what is genuine. Then anything that doesn’t look right or feel right will set off an alert to look more closely.
The same can be said about religion. Can religions be counterfeits? See what the Bible has to say:
(Jesus speaking at Matthew 7:21-23) “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’

So their form of worship, like counterfeit items, was unacceptable and rejected.

Have you been a victim of counterfeit? Have you been taught that when you die you will go to heaven? Most people have, especially those claiming to be Christian. Jesus did make a covenant with his apostles for a position alongside him in his kingdom. He had work for them to serve as judges and kings. (Luke 22:28-30) He said: “However, you are the ones who have stuck with me in my trials; 29 and I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom, 30 so that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and sit on thrones to judge the 12 tribes of Israel.”

There is limited space here for discussion, so you are invited to view a short video at: https://vimeo.com/207878106

The Apostle Paul, a zealous follower of Jesus admonished: “Do your utmost to present yourself approved to God, a workman with nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of the truth aright.”--- 2 Timothy 2:15
